Brad Kaaya Jr. is a former American football quarterback who played for the Miami Hurricanes from 2014 to 2016. He was born on September 3, 1995, in Los Angeles, California, and attended Chaminade College Preparatory School before committing to play college football at the University of Miami. During his time at Miami, Kaaya recorded numerous school records, including most career passing yards (9,686) and most career completions (720). In 2017, Kaaya declared for the NFL draft and was selected by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round, although he did not make the final roster. He later signed with the Indianapolis Colts, but was waived before ever playing in a regular season game.
